In the 3rd minute Arkadiusz Oborski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darren Guest saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arkadiusz Oborski in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Darren Guest saved Redruth FC from getting behind. Max Carragher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rio Weeks, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tristram Ainsworth got free with Max Carragher in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 11th minute Dan Riley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max Carragher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Max Carragher made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tristram Ainsworth in the 13th minute. Darren Guest took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Cazacu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jo Wagstaff in the 15th minute of play forced Redruth FC's goalkeeper Darren Guest to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Redruth FC's zone, Arkadiusz Oborski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Darren Guest came out of the goal and Arkadiusz Oborski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jo Wagstaff took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Darren Guest. Darren Guest dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jo Wagstaff in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Darren Guest saved Redruth FC from getting behind. Max Carragher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rio Weeks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the game, Felix Hay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Redruth FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Travis Tractors the free kick. A collision led to Redruth FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Felix Hay hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Travis Tractors's Gwyn Byrne got a free kick in the 30th minute. After 32 minutes, Dom Little mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Redruth FC and the Travis Tractors players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd minute, Dom Little hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had been going on for 38 minutes, Redruth FC's Jonathon Bailey got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Max Carragher. After 42 played minutes Travis Tractors got a freekick which was hit by Emil Cazacu. 45 minutes into the match, Travis Tractors's goalkeeper Max Carragher had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tristram Ainsworth. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Rio Weeks made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dom Little in the 52nd minute of play forced Travis Tractors's goalkeeper Max Carragher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Darren Guest made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Hermengildo Eutor sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 55 minutes, Arkadiusz Oborski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Travis Tractors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arkadiusz Oborski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hermengildo Eutor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Darren Guest tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Darren Guest managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Travis Tractors's Arkadiusz Oborski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 63 minutes, Dan Riley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Redruth FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dan Riley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute Rio Weeks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max Carragher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute Rio Weeks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max Carragher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Redruth FC's goalkeeper Darren Guest had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hermengildo Eutor. 77 minutes into the game, Dom Little cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Max Carragher was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hermengildo Eutor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Darren Guest was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jo Wagstaff showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 82 minute of play. Travis Tractors's Hermengildo Eutor got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Rio Weeks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Travis Tractors played a much better game than Redruth FC and deserved their victory. The Redruth FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
