With a couple of smart ball manuevers Allan Burton in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kazimierz Bochynski saved Birmingham Blaster FC from getting behind. In the 19thth minute of the game Allan Burton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Birmingham Blaster FC's Kazimierz Bochynski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 20 minutes of play, Birmingham Blaster FC's Derek Hotte made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alan Holloway was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dominik West during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kazimierz Bochynski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Burton, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Bizi in the 27th minute of play forced Birmingham Blaster FC's goalkeeper Kazimierz Bochynski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joseph Housham stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
