After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Hüseyin Can Kurban managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elm Green Boys's supporters rose to their feet, but Hüseyin Can Kurban was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ted Caine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Highbury and Islington City succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Elm Green Boys had controlled the match.
