Spectators: 6692 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1692, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Doug Clarkson kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ormskirk's zone, Benji Peakman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jon Dixon came out of the goal and Benji Peakman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mattias Croxford took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jon Dixon. Jon Dixon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some careless play in the Ormskirk defense, Robert Ridsdale kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jon Dixon. The Ormskirk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jon Dixon should have stopped the shot. If Mattias Croxford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mattias Croxford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Jon Dixon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Ormskirk defense, Mattias Croxford kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jon Dixon. The Ormskirk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jon Dixon should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Teignmouth getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Benji Peakman hit a great ball. When Ormskirk's Doug Clarkson in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Teignmouth's goalie prevented a goal. Jon Dixon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Ridsdale in the 33rd minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Ormskirk's goal looked a bit too open when Mattias Croxford came free, but Jon Dixon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jon Dixon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Croxford in the 39th minute of play. If Mattias Croxford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Scott Duke blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Connor Buxton having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by James Longstaffe during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th minute, James Longstaffe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 47 minutes, Robert Ridsdale made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Ormskirk's Jon Dixon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robert Ridsdale made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Teignmouth's Robbie Hamilton got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute of the match Kristian Simms sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Connor Buxton skillfully saved the ball. Marc French fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Connor Buxton having to interfere. Mattias Croxford recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teignmouth's Benji Peakman pulled a muscle in his leg after 72 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Jonathon Harding fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ormskirk's protests and gave Jonathon Harding a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd match minute, Ormskirk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathon Harding to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doug Clarkson in the 78th minute of play forced Teignmouth's goalkeeper Connor Buxton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Connor Buxton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Scott Duke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ormskirk's Jon Dixon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Ormskirk from getting a goal against them. During the 86th minute of the match James Longstaffe completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave James Longstaffe a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Ormskirk's James Longstaffe got a free kick in the 87th minute. Mattias Croxford recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robbie Hamilton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jon Dixon having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Mattias Croxford managed to get in a good position for a shot. Teignmouth's supporters rose to their feet, but Mattias Croxford was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jon Dixon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 95 played minutes Teignmouth got a freekick which was hit by Mattias Croxford. Mattias Croxford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jon Dixon having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Teignmouth left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ormskirk.
