Ben Husband blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joshua Adamson having to make a save. Joshua Adamson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Barrie Parkinson went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Bexleyheath United's Matthew Chambers quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eric Mortlock, made in the 43rd minute of the game.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Conal Phippard to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Ben Husband shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joshua Adamson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joshua Adamson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nathan Milner in the 54th minute of the match. After 55 minutes of play, Stockport Rockers FC's Barrie Parkinson made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After 65 played minutes Bexleyheath United got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Clayton. Joshua Adamson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conal Phippard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eric Mortlock hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Bexleyheath United's Alistair Panther quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nigel Sargent, made in the 74th minute of the game. Phil Folan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ash Caine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Ash Caine's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Phil Folan was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. When Barrie Parkinson came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Stockport Rockers FC fans jumped to their feet. The audience thought a goal was coming when John Venables got free with Phil Folan in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eric Mortlock took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joshua Adamson. Bexleyheath United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
