Spectators: 7518 (Terracing: 5639, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jack Higgins made the kick off which started today's match. Jack Higginss short, quick shot in the 3rdth minute got Jeff Price to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kristian Howarth during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 4 played minutes Nileford United got a freekick which was hit by Kristian Howarth. Kirkstall FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Todd Little in the 7th minute. The corner led Kirkstall FC's Todd Little to fire away a dangerous shot which Harvey Cole despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jack Higginss short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Jeff Price to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Jack Higgins's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeff Price was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Jack Higgins who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Jeff Price when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 16 minutes into the game, Jasper Myers was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nileford United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kirkstall FC the free kick. Jasper Myers kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Kirkstall FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jack Higgins came free, but Jeff Price reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gez Kalischer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeff Price having to interfere. Jeff Price stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jack Higgins's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. A hard shot 26 in the game by Jack Higgins from a close distance when the talented Jeff Price managed to make a qualified save. Kirkstall FC's players were relieved. Jasper Myers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeff Price didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jack Higgins went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. With his leg Jeff Price managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Nileford United's Jack Higgins fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Kirkstall FC's Brynn Everett got a free kick in the 38th minute. Jeff Price showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jasper Myers, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute, Jasper Myers fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post.

The audience was convinced that Jack Higgins's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeff Price was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. After having played for 54 minutes, José Ignacio Prieto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nileford United's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Ignacio Prieto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Kristian Howarth managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nileford United's supporters rose to their feet, but Kristian Howarth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeff Price breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jack Higgins might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeff Price. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jack Higgins ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Nileford United booed when Kirkstall FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Russ Sherman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeff Price stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jack Higgins's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. In the 63rdth minute of the game Jack Higgins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kirkstall FC's Jeff Price was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jeff Price came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Nileford United's Jack Higgins. But to his dismay, Jack Higgins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Johnathon Cotterill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeff Price having to interfere. After 70 minutes of play, Nileford United's Jack Higgins made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeff Price was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Kirkstall FC's zone, Kristian Howarth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeff Price came out of the goal and Kristian Howarth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nileford United's Orson Ferrell was substituted for Jack Higgins. Kirkstall FC's Jeff Price played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orson Ferrell in the 81st minute of play. Kristian Howarth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 84th minute, Orson Ferrell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 88th match minute, Kirkstall FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brynn Everett to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orson Ferrell in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeff Price saved Kirkstall FC from getting behind. Orson Ferrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Jeff Price tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Orson Ferrell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nileford United's supporters rose to their feet, but Orson Ferrell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeff Price breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 95 minutes into the match, Orson Ferrell notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Kirkstall FC's Jeff Price. Jeff Price was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Nileford United had played much better football throughout.
