Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Derek Pelc kicked off to start the match. Hull FC Tigers's Nat Brodie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Hull FC Tigers from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Hull FC Tigers's zone, Billie Laverick stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nat Brodie came out of the goal and Billie Laverick tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 7 minutes in the game, Dane Mallon dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Nat Brodie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Billie Laverick, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Dane Mallon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nat Brodie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Billie Laverick's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. A well placed Billie Laverick short distance shot in the 19th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. FC Dinamo Bucharest's Dane Mallon came free and shot a quick shot against goal 22 minutes in the game, fortunately Nat Brodie had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Hull FC Tigers's Nat Brodie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Hull FC Tigers from getting a goal against them. Dane Mallon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nat Brodie having to interfere. Hull FC Tigers's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Billie Laverick scored to the left of an out of position Nat Brodie, making the score, 3-0. With a little luck, Hull FC Tigers's Nat Brodie got control of the ball when Dane Mallon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dane Mallon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mark Linford hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Brian Hilton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nat Brodie was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Billie Laverick struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Nat Brodie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Dinamo Bucharest. Nat Brodie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Billie Laverick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Billie Laverick was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Billie Laverick in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nat Brodie saved Hull FC Tigers from getting behind. 64 minutes into the match, Hull FC Tigers's goal looked a bit too open when Billie Laverick came free, but Nat Brodie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dane Mallon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nat Brodie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Billie Laverick, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 73rd match minute, Hull FC Tigers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Linford to maneuver through the defense. After 74 played minutes, FC Dinamo Bucharest's Brian Hilton shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nat Brodie came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Dinamo Bucharest reached it. Billie Laverick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Dinamo Bucharest's Dane Mallon got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Billie Laverick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Nat Brodie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dane Mallon in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nat Brodie saved Hull FC Tigers from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billie Laverick in the 85th minute of play forced Hull FC Tigers's goalkeeper Nat Brodie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Dane Mallon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nat Brodie. Hull FC Tigers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dane Mallon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. A collision led to FC Dinamo Bucharest getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Geoff Ellison hit a great ball. Nat Brodie didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Billie Laverick went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dane Mallon in the 96th minute of play forced Hull FC Tigers's goalkeeper Nat Brodie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th minute Billie Laverick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nat Brodie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Dinamo Bucharest's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
