Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Stu Lester took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ty Cartwright sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Denny Kaye took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sammy Abbott. Sammy Abbott dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ty Cartwright in the 6th minute of play forced Notting Hill Gate City's goalkeeper Sammy Abbott to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denny Kaye recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dylon Toulson in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Joey Meechan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Man utd FC booed when Notting Hill Gate City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rhys Bamford didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Ty Cartwright cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Sammy Abbott was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Man utd FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Trey Byrne hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Man utd FC's goalkeeper Joey Meechan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Denny Kaye had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 44th minute, Ty Cartwright left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Man utd FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Denny Kaye made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ty Cartwright got free with Sammy Abbott in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Notting Hill Gate City's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Denny Kaye scored to the left of an out of position Sammy Abbott, making the score, 0-4. After having played for 60 minutes, Ty Cartwright managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Man utd FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ty Cartwright was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sammy Abbott took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denny Kaye, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sammy Abbott stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Denny Kaye's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. After 68 played minutes Notting Hill Gate City got a freekick which was hit by Rory Theobold. Ty Cartwright recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Notting Hill Gate City's zone, Nicholas Upson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sammy Abbott came out of the goal and Nicholas Upson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Rhys Bamford fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Notting Hill Gate City's protests and gave Rhys Bamford a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd match minute, Notting Hill Gate City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rhys Bamford to maneuver through the defense. David Selby kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Rhys Bamford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ty Cartwright scored 0-5 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sammy Abbott, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sammy Abbott showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicholas Upson in the 85th minute of the match. In the 91st minute Nicholas Upson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sammy Abbott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd play minute Ty Cartwright came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Sammy Abbott. 0-6. Man utd FC played a much better game than Notting Hill Gate City and deserved their victory. The Notting Hill Gate City players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
