When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Martin Langsford sped through Waterfoot FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of James Rider. Martin Langsford recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zackary Scholey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without James Rider having to interfere. Martin Langsford struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. James Rider didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for I Love Bathrooms. James Rider showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dane Mabbutt in the 33rd minute of the match. Dane Mabbutt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without James Rider having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Freddy Lynch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, I Love Bathrooms's Johnathan Bailey got a free kick in the 39th minute. Terry Chappell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Tony Rush tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half I Love Bathrooms were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dane Mabbutt made a kick off. When Martin Langsford came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the I Love Bathrooms fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Langsford couldn't finish the play. Martin Langsford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without James Rider having to interfere. James Rider was a little too slow when Dane Mabbutt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 0-2. Martin Langsford could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but James Rider made a huge save. James Rider took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dane Mabbutt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. James Rider showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dane Mabbutt, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 87th minute, Martin Langsford left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The I Love Bathrooms fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Martin Langsford could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but James Rider made a huge save. In the 92nd minute, Freddy Lynch made a precise shot to the right of Tony Rush. I Love Bathrooms's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. I Love Bathrooms walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
