James Rider dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 28thth minute of the game Victor Wikander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Waterfoot FC's James Rider was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Wikander in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg James Rider saved Waterfoot FC from getting behind. Nicholas Beadel might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over James Rider. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicholas Beadel ran back to his position shaking his head. Wesley Brewer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. James Rider tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. James Rider showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Wikander, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Kristopher Lofthouse made the kick off in the second half. When Johnathon Eslworth fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Waterfoot FC's protests and gave Johnathon Eslworth a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Waterfoot FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Johnathon Eslworth hit a great ball. Victor Wikander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without James Rider having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded London Colney United left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Waterfoot FC.
