The referee ignored Drigodis's protests and gave Antony Renwick a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th minute, James Burrows made a precise shot to the right of Ashley Lydiate. Kingswear United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 18 minutes into the match, Drigodis's goal looked a bit too open when Wayne Buckler came free, but Fred Moxon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ashley Lydiate didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Drigodis's James Burrows shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. The Kingswear United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Drigodis were winning 0-2.

After 55 played minutes Drigodis got a freekick which was hit by Antony Renwick. After a defensive mix-up in Kingswear United's zone, Guy Rothery stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ashley Lydiate came out of the goal and Guy Rothery tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Liam Pringle went to the cornerflag to take it. Ivor Baird charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivor Baird the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ivor Baird kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 66th minute Frankie Ash shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Moxon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Drigodis's Fred Moxon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louie Louis in the 67th minute of play. After 70 played minutes Kingswear United got a freekick which was hit by Frankie Ash. A hard and well directed shot from Liam Pringle led 71 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Kingswear United's Ashley Lydiate became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-3. Kingswear United's Ashley Lydiate played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by James Burrows in the 78th minute of play. Ashley Lydiate made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antony Renwick in the 79th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Drigodis's James Burrows sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ashley Lydiate narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fred Moxon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wayne Buckler in the 93rd minute of the match. James Burrows received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Ashley Lydiate tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Kingswear United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Drigodis were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
