After having played for 12 minutes, Trevor Davies managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lillington FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Trevor Davies was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Black Country's Kirk Freeman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Black Country from getting a goal against them. An unexpected shot in the 19th minute by Ozzy Folan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Stan Mason managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lillington FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Stan Mason was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kirk Freeman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ozzy Folan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Aaron Blythe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Black Country booed when Lillington FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ozzy Folan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jake Higgins came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Black Country fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jake Higgins couldn't finish the play. 33 minutes into the match, Lillington FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jake Higgins came free, but Cliff North reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 36 minutes, Aaron Blythe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lillington FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aaron Blythe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cliff North made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Frankie Clegg sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Lillington FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Trevor Davies hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jake Higgins in the 63rd minute of play forced Lillington FC's goalkeeper Cliff North to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Black Country defense, Ozzy Folan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kirk Freeman. The Black Country fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kirk Freeman should have stopped the shot. Aaron Blythe scored 2-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kirk Freeman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Frankie Clegg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Cliff North tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aaron Blythe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kirk Freeman having to interfere. After 84 minutes of play, Lillington FC's Aaron Blythe made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kirk Freeman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kirk Freeman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Trevor Davies went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Lillington FC's Cliff North played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jake Higgins in the 92nd minute of play. Allan Dothery charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Allan Dothery the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Allan Dothery kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Lillington FC fully deserved thier win.
