Verne Shakespeare didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 6th minute. Fc. Piky1one's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Leo Boxall struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Rhys Morrell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc. Piky1one. Barrie Halford struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Gordon Webster didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Thanet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddie Beresford in the 16th minute of play forced Fc. Piky1one's goalkeeper Gordon Webster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Fc. Piky1one's Jerome Tanner dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Leo Boxall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Rhys Morrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Thanet's Rhys Morrell got control of the ball when Verne Shakespeare tried to sneak it across the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Freddie Beresford was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Thanet's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fc. Piky1one the free kick. Freddie Beresford kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. When Jude Lennon fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fc. Piky1one's protests and gave Jude Lennon a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Thanet booed when Fc. Piky1one was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jude Lennon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute of the match Conal Ridgeway shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gordon Webster showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Verne Shakespeare blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rhys Morrell having to make a save. In the 33rd minute Verne Shakespeare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rhys Morrell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rhys Morrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Boxall in the 37th minute of play. Fc. Piky1one's Gavin Groom got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Barrie Halford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Gordon Webster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Leo Boxall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abraham Greenfield's late challenge caught a Fc. Piky1one's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abraham Greenfield helped the player get up and apologised. Abraham Greenfield kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Keiran Milner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rhys Morrell having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Leo Boxall made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Jerome Tanner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc. Piky1one's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jerome Tanner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Fc. Piky1one's Verne Shakespeare in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Thanet's goalie prevented a goal. Leo Boxall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Rhys Morrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barrie Halford could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Gordon Webster made a huge save. Rhys Morrell came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Fc. Piky1one's Verne Shakespeare. But to his dismay, Verne Shakespeare quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Verne Shakespeare fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rhys Morrell having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gavin Groom in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rhys Morrell saved Thanet from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Thanet's Carl Crossley got a free kick in the 74th minute. Jude Lennon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanet's Rhys Morrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavin Groom in the 79th minute of play. Rhys Morrell came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Fc. Piky1one's Keiran Milner. But to his dismay, Keiran Milner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Jerome Tanner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rhys Morrell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tosh Leadbeater, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Verne Shakespeare in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rhys Morrell saved Thanet from getting behind. Rhys Morrell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerome Tanner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rhys Morrell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gavin Groom went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fc. Piky1one fully deserved thier win.
