Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Keiran Kerfoot took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felix Knight in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damian Whittington saved Studley United from getting behind. Robert Broadhead fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Whittington having to interfere. After having played for 11 minutes, Robert Broadhead managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prescot's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Broadhead was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Studley United's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Broadhead came free, but Damian Whittington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Nial Brent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Prescot's Victor Drake sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damian Whittington narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Nial Brent managed to get in a good position for a shot. Studley United's supporters rose to their feet, but Nial Brent was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricky Akins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Prescot's Ricky Akins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Keiran Kerfoot in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Keiran Kerfoot in the 26th minute of play forced Prescot's goalkeeper Ricky Akins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nial Brent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robert Broadhead received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Damian Whittington tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damian Whittington stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felix Knight's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Stewart Platt kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Ricky Akins made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Nial Brent sent off a good shot on target. After 42 minutes, Kieran Clare mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Prescot and the Studley United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kieran Clare kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felix Knight made a kick off. Felix Knight fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Whittington having to interfere. Ricky Akins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Keiran Kerfoot in the 55th minute of the match. A collision led to Prescot getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Victor Drake hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Nial Brent managed to get in a good position for a shot. Studley United's supporters rose to their feet, but Nial Brent was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricky Akins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Keiran Kerfoot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Knight recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robert Broadhead struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Damian Whittington didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Prescot. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Felix Knight managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prescot's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Knight was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damian Whittington breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 69 played minutes Prescot got a freekick which was hit by Felix Knight. If Keiran Kerfoot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricky Akins didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nial Brent went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 81 minutes into the match, Studley United's goalkeeper Damian Whittington had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albert Downham. Nial Brent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Knight fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Whittington having to interfere. Damian Whittington came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Prescot's Robert Broadhead. But to his dismay, Robert Broadhead quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 95 played minutes Studley United got a freekick which was hit by Frankie Newby. Felix Knight fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Whittington having to interfere. Studley United's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
