Ash Lobb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Noel Breeden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Amancio Jacob got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 22nd minute, Zane Stockton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian Anderson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philip Mudd in the 24th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amancio Jacob got free with Noel Breeden in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Johnathon Eubank fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malmesbury's protests and gave Johnathon Eubank a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Malmesbury fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! In the 37th minute there was a penalty for Lowton. John Slabber stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Christian Anderson. 0-1. Amancio Jacob could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Noel Breeden made a huge save. When Ash Lobb came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Malmesbury fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ash Lobb couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute, Amancio Jacob got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Amancio Jacob had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

53 minutes into the game, Philip Mudd cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Christian Anderson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Richie Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malmesbury's supporters rose to their feet, but Richie Lucas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noel Breeden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 60 minutes, Amancio Jacob made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Lowton's Noel Breeden tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Noel Breeden stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amancio Jacob's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Richie Lucas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 69 minutes of play, Malmesbury's Amancio Jacob made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Noel Breeden was left in no man's land by his defense there! 73 minutes into the match, Lowton's goal looked a bit too open when Amancio Jacob came free, but Noel Breeden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Noel Breeden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amancio Jacob in the 74th minute of the match. Ash Lobb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Breeden having to interfere. Noel Breeden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garth Hamer in the 78th minute of play. Ash Lobb struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Noel Breeden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malmesbury. If Garth Hamer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Garth Hamer in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Noel Breeden prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Garth Hamer sped through Lowton's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Noel Breeden. When Richie Lucas came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Malmesbury fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Richie Lucas couldn't finish the play.
