Spectators: 7076 (Terracing: 5575, Seating: 1501, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luke Byfield started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Leek United's goal looked a bit too open when Luke Floyd came free, but Bob Watkinson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute of the match Darryl Cheetham shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bob Watkinson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jeremy Collins charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeremy Collins the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luke Floyd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Bob Watkinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Luke Floyd came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Bobson FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luke Floyd couldn't finish the play. Dennis Bradfield was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 15th minute. Leek United's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Bobson FC's Pierce Cox proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Bobson FC from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luke Byfield in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pierce Cox prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pierce Cox made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Dennis Bradfield sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th minute, Bobson FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dennis Bradfield fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to Bobson FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Travis Gill hit a great ball. Luke Byfield's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pierce Cox read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Bobson FC's Pierce Cox proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Bobson FC from getting a goal against them. Bob Watkinson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luke Floyd in the 35th minute of the match. Deon Crocker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Johnathan Martindale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bob Watkinson having to interfere. Bob Watkinson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaq Langston in the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leek United's goalkeeper Bob Watkinson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Jeremy Collins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leek United's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremy Collins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pierce Cox breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 64 minutes into the match, Bobson FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Bradfield came free, but Pierce Cox reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luke Byfield fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierce Cox having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Bobson FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luke Byfield came free, but Pierce Cox reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luke Byfield might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pierce Cox. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luke Byfield ran back to his position shaking his head. 75 minutes into the game, Travis Gill was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bobson FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leek United the free kick. After 75 played minutes Bobson FC got a freekick which was hit by Travis Gill. Luke Byfield fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierce Cox having to interfere. Pierce Cox showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Bradfield in the 78th minute of the match. Johnathan Martindale struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Bob Watkinson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bobson FC. Bob Watkinson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Travis Gill in the 86th minute of play. The supporters of Bobson FC booed when Leek United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brian Gill didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bob Watkinson was a little too slow when Zaq Langston got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 0-1.
