Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Allan Moorhouse made the kick off which started today's match. Allan Moorhouse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 9 minutes into the match, Glenn Brent dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Theo Haskell, 1-0. Guy Trunks kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th of the match, Allan Moorhouse tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Theo Haskell got in the way and made a wonderful save. After 17 played minutes Rochester AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gaz Brayford. 19 minutes into the match, Bromborough AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Andy Osmond came free, but Sammy Webster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Ash Needham left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bromborough AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 26 minutes into the game, Bromborough AFC's Allan Moorhouse nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Theo Haskell made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Andy Osmond took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sammy Webster. Sammy Webster dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 32nd minute Andy Osmond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sammy Webster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Denzil Storry hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andy Osmond stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Bromborough AFC booed when Rochester AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Glenn Hunter didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Andy Osmond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ash Needham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Allan Moorhouse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 57 played minutes Bromborough AFC got a freekick which was hit by John-Paul Maston. Allan Moorhouse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Theo Haskell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ash Needham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Rochester AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Glenn Brent was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. After a rather tough play, Bromborough AFC's Denzil Storry got a free kick in the 74th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Rochester AFC's zone, Ash Needham stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Theo Haskell came out of the goal and Ash Needham tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute, Allan Moorhouse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sammy Webster was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Len Booker. After a defensive mix-up in Rochester AFC's zone, Allan Moorhouse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Theo Haskell came out of the goal and Allan Moorhouse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th minute, John-Paul Maston got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bromborough AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
