The goal made the score 1-0. Daryl Crouch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Howard Acton, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Crispin Hold kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Nathanial Barker took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Daryl Crouch. Kesgrave United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Crispin Hold fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kesgrave United's protests and gave Crispin Hold a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Kesgrave United getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Crispin Hold hit a great ball. After 17 played minutes, Misfits's Nathanial Barker shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Daryl Crouch came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Misfits reached it. 23 minutes into the match, Misfits's goal looked a bit too open when Dom Brimble came free, but Beinn Buckley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 played minutes Misfits got a freekick which was hit by Howard Acton. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tris Furlong in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Beinn Buckley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tris Furlong's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beinn Buckley read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Beinn Buckley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tris Furlong in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Bergström in the 39th minute of play forced Kesgrave United's goalkeeper Daryl Crouch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daryl Crouch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Howard Acton, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. If Dylan Hammond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nathanial Barker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

52 minutes into the match, Kesgrave United's goal looked a bit too open when Howard Acton came free, but Daryl Crouch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Nathanial Barker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Misfits's supporters rose to their feet, but Nathanial Barker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daryl Crouch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Howard Acton came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Misfits fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Howard Acton couldn't finish the play. Misfits's Harry Bergström quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rick Dawson, made in the 63rd minute of the game. If Dylan Hammond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dylan Hammond in the 68th minute of play forced Kesgrave United's goalkeeper Daryl Crouch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daryl Crouch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Howard Acton in the 69th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Dylan Hammond made a precise shot to the right of Daryl Crouch. Kesgrave United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Daryl Crouch came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Misfits's Dylan Hammond. But to his dismay, Dylan Hammond quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Daryl Crouch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Howard Acton in the 88th minute of play. After 88 played minutes Kesgrave United got a freekick which was hit by Phil West. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dylan Hammond in the 89th minute of play forced Kesgrave United's goalkeeper Daryl Crouch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beinn Buckley made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Dom Brimble sent off a good shot on target. Dylan Hammond struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Daryl Crouch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Misfits. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Misfits had played much better football throughout.
