The supporters of Bloomsbury booed when Misfits was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harry Bergström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Beinn Buckley acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 10th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Glen Coulson. Jacob Renwick didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Howard Acton went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Misfits's Dylan Hammond got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zack Skipton in the 23rd minute of play forced Misfits's goalkeeper Beinn Buckley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacob Renwick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Howard Acton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 28 played minutes Bloomsbury got a freekick which was hit by Tod Clayton. A collision led to Misfits getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Paul Wilson hit a great ball. Beinn Buckley stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zack Skipton's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. With his leg Beinn Buckley managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Bloomsbury's Duncan Mayo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Misfits's Beinn Buckley got control of the ball when Duncan Mayo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Duncan Mayo came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Bloomsbury fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duncan Mayo couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Howard Acton made a kick off. A collision led to Bloomsbury getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Tristan Carey hit a great ball. In the 56th minute Howard Acton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacob Renwick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Misfits's Jacob Renwick threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Howard Acton, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Misfits's Beinn Buckley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zack Skipton in the 62nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tristan Carey during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tristan Carey hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Howard Acton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Bloomsbury's goal looked a bit too open when Howard Acton came free, but Jacob Renwick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beinn Buckley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zack Skipton, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Howard Acton put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jacob Renwick. Tristan Carey kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 97th minute Duncan Mayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beinn Buckley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
