The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the match, Wareham's goalkeeper Camron Beavan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfred Beckett. In the 17th minute, Luke Wallbank got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Basingstoke Town FC's Luke Wallbank got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th match minute, Wareham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Trueman to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the game, Marcus Trueman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wareham's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Basingstoke Town FC the free kick. In the 26th match minute, Wareham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Trueman to maneuver through the defense. Luke Wallbank struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lewis Little made a kick off. After 55 minutes, Albert Hunter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Basingstoke Town FC and the Wareham players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th minute, one of Basingstoke Town FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Basingstoke Town FC. Brendon Ackroyd shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Lewis Little struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Stew Linford didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wareham. In the 60th minute, Basil Best hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Lewis Little kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stew Linford. That made the score 1-1 in the 61 minute of play. Camron Beavan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luke Wallbank in the 65th minute of play. Camron Beavan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luke Wallbank in the 68th minute of the match. Luke Wallbank struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Camron Beavan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Basingstoke Town FC. With a little luck, Basingstoke Town FC's Stew Linford got control of the ball when Lewis Little tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 81st minute, Silvester Scholey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Alfred Beckett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. When Basil Best fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Basingstoke Town FC's protests and gave Basil Best a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Wareham booed when Basingstoke Town FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basil Best didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lewis Little received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Stew Linford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
