Spectators: 6725 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 0) Kyle Crtichell made the kick off and thus started the match. Pat Weston recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 13 minutes into the game, Buster Sawbridge cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Mark Leonard was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 25 minutes into the game, Buster Sawbridge lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Mark Leonard. In the 30th minute, Kurt Wilkinson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, Norbury City's goal looked a bit too open when Lewis Davison came free, but Mark Leonard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Wem City's Lewis Davison dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Mark Leonard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lewis Davison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Norbury City's zone, Lewis Davison stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mark Leonard came out of the goal and Lewis Davison tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 49 minutes, Kyle Crtichell put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Owen Blythe. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Fred Davis kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Owen Blythe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Crtichell in the 62nd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Wem City's goalkeeper Owen Blythe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pat Weston. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lewis Davison in the 68th minute of play forced Norbury City's goalkeeper Mark Leonard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barrie Newlyn's late challenge caught a Wem City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Barrie Newlyn helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th match minute, Norbury City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barrie Newlyn to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Wem City's Dominik Blakeley tried to score from far away in the 75th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Pat Weston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Owen Blythe having to interfere. Dominik Blakeley hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. If Derek Beresford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lewis Davison in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mark Leonard saved Norbury City from getting behind. Pat Weston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Owen Blythe having to interfere. Wem City's Owen Blythe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyle Crtichell in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Wem City fans cheered their team off the field, for while Norbury City had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
