But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guy Cornish couldn't finish the play. Thom Hicks's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastian Child read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Ciancia FK's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Beale came free, but Chupan Vino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chupan Vino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricky Ainsworth in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thom Hicks in the 15th minute of play forced Winchester AFC's goalkeeper Sebastian Child to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Winchester AFC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ross Wild hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Guy Cornish made a precise shot to the right of Sebastian Child. Winchester AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Sebastian Child made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thom Hicks in the 30th minute of play. If Thom Hicks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Child stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thom Hicks's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Winchester AFC's Ricky Ainsworth got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ricky Ainsworth stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sebastian Child made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guy Cornish in the 55th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Thom Hicks's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastian Child was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. 58 minutes into the match, Winchester AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Thom Hicks came free, but Sebastian Child reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thom Hicks in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastian Child saved Winchester AFC from getting behind. Ciancia FK's Chupan Vino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricky Ainsworth in the 62nd minute of play. Jeff Leadbeater hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Winchester AFC's Sebastian Child played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guy Cornish in the 71st minute of play. In the 89th minute Guy Cornish shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Child saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciancia FK's Ben Bower suffered a concussion after 91 minutes and had to leave the field. Ronny Caine charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronny Caine the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ciancia FK made a substitution. Grant Potts replaced Ben Bower. After 92 played minutes Winchester AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ronny Caine. Sebastian Child made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thom Hicks in the 94th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeff Leadbeater during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ciancia FK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
