In the 10th minute, Joe Day ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stevie Endean was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joe Day got free with Stevie Endean in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Johnathan Duckworth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Stevie Endean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pea FC's David Halford got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Johnathan Duckworth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stevie Endean having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johnathan Duckworth in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stevie Endean prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Darryl Purkiss fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pea FC's protests and gave Darryl Purkiss a yellow card for diving instead. When the match had been going on for 28 minutes, Wolves's Johnathan Duckworth got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Stevie Endean. Johnathan Duckworth was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 33rd minute. Wolves's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 38 minutes into the match, Pea FC's goal looked a bit too open when Johnathan Duckworth came free, but Stevie Endean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wolves's Romeo Stubbs took a good shot, in the 40th minute, which hit the crossbar above Stevie Endean's head, and flew over the goal. Pea FC's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Wolves. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gwyn Cuss made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Gwyn Cuss managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pea FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gwyn Cuss was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruben Woodford breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Wolves.
