After a defensive mix-up in Chippenham United's zone, Simeon Nightingale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Rowett came out of the goal and Simeon Nightingale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Simeon Nightingale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Chippenham United's zone, Paul Atkins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Rowett came out of the goal and Paul Atkins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Simeon Nightingale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wood Green's supporters rose to their feet, but Simeon Nightingale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Rowett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Wood Green getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Gus Haskell hit a great ball. Wood Green's Hayden Pelc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaq Hicks in the 31st minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zaq Hicks stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
