Newport FC's Jeremy Hepburn got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 4th minute, Keiran Basterfield hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Newport FC's Joshua Ramsay got a free kick in the 11th minute. The audience was convinced that Jeremy Hepburn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Blair Rocastle was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. 18 minutes into the match, Dodge City's goal looked a bit too open when Kev Murtagh came free, but Blair Rocastle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeff Wild made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Newport FC's Jeff Wild played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikael Qvarnström in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Dodge City's goal looked a bit too open when Kev Murtagh came free, but Blair Rocastle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeremy Hepburn made a kick off. Dodge City's Blair Rocastle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremy Hepburn in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Dodge City's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremy Hepburn came free, but Blair Rocastle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kev Murtagh let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 55th minute shot 1-2 at rihgt post. In the 59th minute Mikael Qvarnström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeff Wild saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Michael Larsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dodge City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Jeremy Hepburn received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Blair Rocastle came out and tried to block the shot, but Jeremy Hepburn slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 75th minute. Mikael Qvarnström hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 82ndth minute of the game Jeremy Hepburn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dodge City's Blair Rocastle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 86th minute Michael Larsson suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Reuben Bye hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mikael Qvarnström in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeff Wild saved Newport FC from getting behind.
