Spectators: 6716 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Frankie Townsend kicked off to start the match. The Crediton fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Crediton's Felix Boyce looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Crediton's Felix Boyce in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Johnnie Jowsey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frankie Townsend in the 22nd minute of the match. Johnnie Jowsey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frankie Townsend, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Carlin How AFC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Nial Hardwick hit a great ball. Felix Boyce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Warburton having to interfere. The supporters of Crediton booed when Carlin How AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nial Hardwick didn't get a good kick on the ball. Johnnie Jowsey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Liam Bowler in the 32nd minute. Leigh Furniss recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leigh Furniss in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adam Warburton saved Carlin How AFC from getting behind. Leigh Furniss's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adam Warburton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felix Boyce to make the kick off. Adam Warburton made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Leigh Furniss sent off a good shot on target. Carlin How AFC's Adam Warburton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Carlin How AFC from getting a goal against them. 56 minutes into the game, Carlin How AFC's Frankie Townsend nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Johnnie Jowsey made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Liam Bowler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Johnnie Jowsey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Crediton's Felix Boyce sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adam Warburton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Adam Warburton successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Crediton's Leigh Furniss slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adam Warburton. That made the score 1-2 after 76 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frankie Townsend in the 85th minute of play forced Crediton's goalkeeper Johnnie Jowsey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Crediton's Leigh Furniss got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leigh Furniss fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Warburton having to interfere. Johnnie Jowsey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frankie Townsend in the 94th minute of play. The Carlin How AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Crediton were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
