Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Graham Cullen made the kick off and thus started the match. After 4 minutes, Graham Cullen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Greenock F.C and the Coalville players grew even worse after the yellow card. Graham Cullen kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Graham Cullen in the 6th minute of play forced Coalville's goalkeeper Nath Dunn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Byron Bassett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Nath Dunn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Greenock F.C getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Damien Symons hit a great ball. Coalville's Billy Wing couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 15th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Greenock F.C. Isaac Wiley hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Kasey Dines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute, Byron Bassett ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nath Dunn was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When Gav Ansell came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Coalville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gav Ansell couldn't finish the play. Mattias Bayliff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gav Ansell in the 38th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Greenock F.C's Graham Cullen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gav Ansell made a kick off. Graham Cullen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nath Dunn having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Greenock F.C's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kasey Dines fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Nath Dunn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Graham Cullen in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gav Ansell in the 64th minute of play forced Greenock F.C's goalkeeper Mattias Bayliff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pierre Kendall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Nath Dunn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Byron Bassett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nath Dunn having to interfere. After 71 played minutes Coalville got a freekick which was hit by Derek Gilchrist. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Derek Gilchrist during the 73rd minute. Isaac Wiley kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Byron Bassett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Graham Cullen in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nath Dunn saved Coalville from getting behind. Graham Cullen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nath Dunn having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Coalville's goal looked a bit too open when Byron Bassett came free, but Nath Dunn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kasey Dines got free with Mattias Bayliff in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Coalville's Nath Dunn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Graham Cullen in the 94th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Byron Bassett's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nath Dunn was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Byron Bassett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Greenock F.C walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
