Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Graeme Slatter took the kick off in the first half of the match. Graeme Slatter took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Curtis Farmer. Curtis Farmer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A hard shot by Kenny Cheesman from long distance, 11 minutes into the match, got Lee Fry's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Curtis Farmer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Graeme Slatter went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Louth booed when Fulham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paddy Kear didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stu Rhodes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Curtis Farmer. Louth's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 21st minute, Graeme Slatter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Curtis Farmer was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After 24 played minutes Fulham got a freekick which was hit by Paddy Kear. Lee Fry made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dale Morgan in the 30th minute of play. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Graeme Slatter sped through Louth's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Curtis Farmer. Lee Fry made an important save on a dangerous shot by Perry Hickson in the 42nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dale Morgan got free with Lee Fry in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Fulham getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Stu Rhodes hit a great ball. If Perry Hickson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dale Morgan to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Fulham's goal looked a bit too open when Perry Hickson came free, but Lee Fry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute Dale Morgan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lee Fry saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kyle Turner kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the game, Kyle Turner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Louth's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fulham the free kick. Kyle Turner hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Perry Hickson in the 60th minute of play forced Fulham's goalkeeper Lee Fry to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Fulham's Ben Pinder got a free kick in the 67th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Fulham's goal looked a bit too open when Dale Morgan came free, but Lee Fry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Graeme Slatter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Curtis Farmer having to interfere. Fulham's Lee Fry played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perry Hickson in the 80th minute of play. Martyn Kellaway hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Lewis Meehan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Curtis Farmer having to interfere. 86 minutes into the game, Graeme Slatter recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Curtis Farmer. Graeme Slatter showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Lee Fry took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dale Morgan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute Perry Hickson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lee Fry saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Graeme Slatter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
