The supporters of FC Lokomotiv Luxulyan booed when Maplin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carl Bridge didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maplin FC's Nick East came free and shot a quick shot against goal 7 minutes in the game, fortunately Ash Findley had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Guy Commons who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Ash Findley when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 10th match minute, FC Lokomotiv Luxulyan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jermaine Ashby to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute, Maplin FC's Nick East ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ash Findley. Ash Findley yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When Nick East came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Maplin FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nick East couldn't finish the play. If Carl Bridge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes in the game, Nick East fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ash Findley having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nick East got free with Ash Findley in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gav Davis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristopher Hall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kristopher Hall scored 2-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gav Davis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Lokomotiv Luxulyan! With a little luck, FC Lokomotiv Luxulyan's Ash Findley got control of the ball when Nick East tried to sneak it across the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, FC Lokomotiv Luxulyan's goalkeeper Ash Findley had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nick East. After 41 minutes of play, Maplin FC's Nick East made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ash Findley was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ash Findley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guy Commons in the 45th minute of the match. In the last second Ash Findley throw himself and got hold of the ball when Guy Commons in the 47thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. FC Lokomotiv Luxulyan's Ash Findley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save FC Lokomotiv Luxulyan from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nick East stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ash Findley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nick East in the 54th minute of the match. Ash Findley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nick East, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Maplin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kristopher Hall came free, but Gav Davis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 88 minutes of play, Maplin FC's Carl Bridge made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
