FC Lokomotiv Luxulyan's Ash Findley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerry Seaman in the 33rd minute of play. Ash Findley stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Walter Pennant's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. The supporters of FC Lokomotiv Luxulyan booed when Weston Super Mare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dean Paine didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Weston Super Mare's Jerome Bettinson got a free kick in the 37th minute. Ash Findley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walter Pennant in the 40th minute of play. FC Lokomotiv Luxulyan's Ash Findley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garth Hancock in the 42nd minute of play. Pete Sharpe charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pete Sharpe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Walter Pennant made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Walter Pennant managed to get in a good position for a shot. Weston Super Mare's supporters rose to their feet, but Walter Pennant was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 60th minute, Walter Pennant ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ash Findley was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Walter Pennant in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ash Findley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 72 minutes, Sly Bowen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Lokomotiv Luxulyan and the Weston Super Mare players grew even worse after the yellow card. Walter Pennant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Oscar Burnham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walter Pennant in the 83rd minute of play forced FC Lokomotiv Luxulyan's goalkeeper Ash Findley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
