Leroy Oliver's late challenge caught a Sandy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leroy Oliver helped the player get up and apologised. Leroy Oliver kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Sneinton Souljahs's goalkeeper Pedro Swift had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ib Kierch. After 8 played minutes Sneinton Souljahs got a freekick which was hit by Brad Anson. Wayne Salt hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Leroy Oliver got his second yellow card in the match during the 11th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 11th minute, Leroy Oliver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 16 minutes, Ib Kierch made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Sneinton Souljahs's Pedro Swift tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Sandy's Ib Kierch in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sneinton Souljahs's goalie prevented a goal. In the 21st minute, Ib Kierch ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Swift was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sneinton Souljahs's goalkeeper Pedro Swift, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Sneinton Souljahs's zone, Joaquim Macedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Swift came out of the goal and Joaquim Macedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ib Kierch in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Swift prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joaquim Macedo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Pedro Swift 33 minutes into the match. Joaquim Macedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Pedro Swift tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Sneinton Souljahs's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Macedo came free, but Pedro Swift reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Ib Kierch left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sandy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. A hard shot 46 in the game by Ib Kierch from a close distance when the talented Pedro Swift managed to make a qualified save. Sneinton Souljahs's players were relieved. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The wind increased when Ib Kierch made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Sandy's Ben Scott got control of the ball when Jez Granger tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 60th minute Ib Kierch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Swift saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ib Kierch's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Swift was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. After 66 minutes, Ib Kierch made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Sneinton Souljahs's Pedro Swift tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 77 minutes into the match, Sneinton Souljahs's goal looked a bit too open when Ib Kierch came free, but Pedro Swift reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Sandy's Joaquim Macedo in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sneinton Souljahs's goalie prevented a goal. Ib Kierch charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ib Kierch the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 94 minutes, Ib Kierch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sandy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ib Kierch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Swift took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Macedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th minute of the match Martyn Howarth shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Swift showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sandy fully deserved thier win.
