The audience thought a goal was coming when Joe Hales got free with Paul Sheene in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paul Sheene was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Ross Huxtable capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ross Huxtable really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Thanks to some nice moves Joe Hales could shoot a difficult shot in the 8th minute, which Paul Sheene however easily saved by the left post. Joe Hales could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Paul Sheene made a huge save. If Oliver Clare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wlodzimierz Marchefka kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Bryan Blacksmith was extremely unlucky when he, in the 21st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Joe Hales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Seascale City's Paul Sheene proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Seascale City from getting a goal against them. In the 28th minute Bryan Blacksmith shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Sheene saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clóvis Koehler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luke Tuck in the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st match minute, Seascale City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Waite to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joe Hales got free with Paul Sheene in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Colwick FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Ross Huxtable hit a great ball. Joe Hales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

In the 53rd minute, Joe Hales left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colwick FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Seascale City's zone, Ross Huxtable stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paul Sheene came out of the goal and Ross Huxtable tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bryan Blacksmith received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Paul Sheene tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bryan Blacksmith sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Colwick FC's Clóvis Koehler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Colwick FC from getting a goal against them. 73 minutes into the match, Colwick FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pete Best came free, but Clóvis Koehler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Seascale City's Paul Sheene played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joe Hales in the 75th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Joe Hales put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Paul Sheene. Joe Hales received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Paul Sheene tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paul Sheene showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bryan Blacksmith, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After a rather tough play, Colwick FC's Dominic Lee-Barrett got a free kick in the 96th minute. 97 minutes into the match, Colwick FC's goalkeeper Clóvis Koehler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oliver Clare. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Colwick FC fully deserved thier win.
