Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marcus Walker got the match started through his kick off. When Titchfield's Dave Boothroyd in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LEEDS UNITED's goalie prevented a goal. Richard Sedgemore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jay Pickering in the 5th minute of the match. Jay Pickering fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Sedgemore having to interfere. Dave Boothroyd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 10 minutes into the game, Timothy Giles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LEEDS UNITED's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Titchfield the free kick. Timothy Giles hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After 15 played minutes LEEDS UNITED got a freekick which was hit by Pete Morris. LEEDS UNITED's Richard Sedgemore proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save LEEDS UNITED from getting a goal against them. In the 21st minute, Dave Boothroyd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27thth minute of the game Dave Boothroyd who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LEEDS UNITED's Richard Sedgemore was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Dave Boothroyd kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Richard Sedgemore. That made the score 1-0 in the 29 minute of play. Jeff Waite kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. With splendid footwork Dave Boothroyd arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-0 by the left pole in the game's 36th minute. Sammy Dwyer charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sammy Dwyer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 40 played minutes Titchfield got a freekick which was hit by Sammy Dwyer. 44 minutes into the match, Titchfield's goal looked a bit too open when Jeff Waite came free, but William Gulliver reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. William Gulliver made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Walker in the 45th minute of play. William Gulliver didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcus Walker went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dave Boothroyd made a kick off. When Titchfield's Jay Pickering, in the 55th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Titchfield. In the 62nd minute Jay Pickering shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Sedgemore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeff Waite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Titchfield's William Gulliver proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Titchfield from getting a goal against them. In the 80th minute, Dave Boothroyd left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Titchfield fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Sammy Dwyer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Richard Sedgemore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dave Boothroyd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jeff Waite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jay Pickering received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Richard Sedgemore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Titchfield's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
