Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Seth Southgate made the kick off and thus started the match. After some careless play in the Gravesend defense, Stu Lonsdale kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Buster Argent. The Gravesend fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Buster Argent should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Gravesend's Damian Oates got a free kick in the 14th minute. Buster Argent took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nath Edwards, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Josh Hewitt acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 46th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Harry Blackley. 47 minutes into the match, Dymchurch United's goalkeeper Josh Hewitt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Seth Southgate.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stu Lonsdale was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes of play, Gravesend's Harry Blackley made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Josh Hewitt was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 55 minutes, Seth Southgate managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gravesend's supporters crossed their fingers, but Seth Southgate was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 60 minutes of play, Dymchurch United's Adrian Penn made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Buster Argent was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marty Parsons struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Josh Hewitt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gravesend. 69 minutes into the game, Gravesend's Seth Southgate nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Josh Hewitt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Seth Southgate in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Josh Hewitt saved Dymchurch United from getting behind. After 76 minutes, Stu Lonsdale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dymchurch United and the Gravesend players grew even worse after the yellow card. Stu Lonsdale kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Dymchurch United's goal looked a bit too open when Seth Southgate came free, but Josh Hewitt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Josh Hewitt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seth Southgate in the 92nd minute of play forced Dymchurch United's goalkeeper Josh Hewitt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Josh Hewitt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Collingwood in the 93rd minute of play. Ivor Lagdon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gravesend's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
