Spectators: 7294 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Brett Kent made the kick off which started today's match. With an all-out effort, Kimpton's Sid Illingworth threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Brett Kent, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 11th minute, Pete Machin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brett Kent struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Sid Illingworth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kimpton. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zach Fucks in the 17th minute of play forced Kimpton's goalkeeper Krzysztof Skwira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Kimpton getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. John Paul Hargreaves hit a great ball. Krzysztof Skwira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jamie Burrows in the 20th minute of the match. Krzysztof Skwira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John-Paul Hylton in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Moon Wizards United's goal looked a bit too open when Stu Fleetham came free, but Sid Illingworth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Pete Machin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kimpton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moon Wizards United the free kick. In the 26th match minute, Kimpton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pete Machin to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute, John Paul Hargreaves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Brett Kent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Pete Machin came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Kimpton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pete Machin couldn't finish the play. Brett Kent recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34thth minute of the game Brett Kent who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moon Wizards United's Sid Illingworth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brett Kent in the 35th minute of play forced Moon Wizards United's goalkeeper Sid Illingworth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sid Illingworth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stu Fleetham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Kimpton's Stu Fleetham sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sid Illingworth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Moon Wizards United's Sid Illingworth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brett Kent in the 40th minute of play. Stu Fleetham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sid Illingworth having to interfere. Brett Kent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. John-Paul Hylton was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Pete Machin put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sid Illingworth. Krzysztof Skwira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John-Paul Hylton in the 57th minute of play. Kimpton's attentive Greg Gavan managed to snatch the ball when Dom Hehir made a throw-in in the 60th minute of the game. Krzysztof Skwira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John-Paul Hylton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the match, Brett Kent notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Moon Wizards United's Sid Illingworth. Sid Illingworth was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Krzysztof Skwira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John-Paul Hylton in the 80th minute of play. Sid Illingworth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brett Kent went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Moon Wizards United defense, Brett Kent kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sid Illingworth. The Moon Wizards United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sid Illingworth should have stopped the shot. If Stu Fleetham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ben Quinn kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd match minute, Kimpton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casey Winter to maneuver through the defense. Sid Illingworth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brett Kent, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
