Stu Houlahan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Hutchins having to interfere. Romeo Hutchins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ged McBreen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Stu Houlahan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute, Seth Kerfoot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell John-Paul Wheeler to make the kick off. Andre Davenport showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brynn Dowdall in the 80th minute of the match. Lenny Wootton kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. If Ethan Burrows had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Romeo Hutchins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ethan Burrows, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Lenny Wootton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tipton fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Lenny Wootton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romeo Hutchins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
