Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Senrab's Gaz Cooper started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ron Millman made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Teddy McGurk sent off a good shot on target. Jeff Boyle charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeff Boyle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Spike Sills received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Ron Millman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jordan Santos's late challenge caught a Bodicote's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jordan Santos helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Senrab getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Jordan Santos hit a great ball. Ron Millman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Spike Sills, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 21st minute of the match Jeff Boyle completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jeff Boyle a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 21st minute, Jeff Boyle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donny Beech's late challenge caught a Bodicote's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donny Beech helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th match minute, Senrab was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donny Beech to maneuver through the defense. After 25 played minutes, Bodicote's Tommy Bevan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ron Millman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bodicote reached it. 31 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Bodicote's Teddy McGurk fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. If Teddy McGurk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donny Beech was shown his second yellow card after 37 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Bodicote booed when Senrab was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donny Beech didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ron Millman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teddy McGurk in the 44th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Spike Sills made a kick off. When Teddy McGurk came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Bodicote fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teddy McGurk couldn't finish the play. When Archie Bower fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Senrab's protests and gave Archie Bower a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th match minute, Senrab was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Archie Bower to maneuver through the defense. Senrab's Ron Millman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Spike Sills in the 65th minute of play. Archie Bower was shown his second yellow card after 70 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Senrab's Archie Bower got a free kick in the 70th minute. Ron Millman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teddy McGurk's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. When Spike Sills came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Bodicote fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Spike Sills couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute, Spike Sills got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 89 minutes into the game, Spike Sills cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ron Millman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Spike Sills's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ron Millman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. After having played for 95 minutes, Spike Sills managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bodicote's supporters crossed their fingers, but Spike Sills was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bodicote fans cheered their team off the field, for while Senrab had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
