In the 11th match minute, Beaconsfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chesney Harland to maneuver through the defense. If Tyler Campbell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Rick Boston managed to get in a good position for a shot. Billericay Town FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rick Boston was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Richard Downes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Beaconsfield's Richard Downes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Peña in the 21st minute of play. After 23 minutes of play, Billericay Town FC's Rick Boston made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Richard Downes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Stu Draper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Beaconsfield's goal looked a bit too open when Rick Boston came free, but Richard Downes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Al Corbridge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Walme Echavarri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rick Boston might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Richard Downes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rick Boston ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 67th minute of the match, Rick Boston tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Richard Downes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Chesney Harland hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. The Billericay Town FC fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Billericay Town FC's Rick Boston looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. When Billericay Town FC's Santo Peña in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Beaconsfield's goalie prevented a goal. Billericay Town FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
