Spectators: 6716 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 0) Owen Coulson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute Adam Kerridge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max Longden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adam Kerridge in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Max Longden prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Max Longden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Kerridge in the 10th minute of play. When Adam Kerridge came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Bedale fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adam Kerridge couldn't finish the play. Nath Furlong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mansfield's Max Longden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Kerridge in the 16th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Mansfield's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Kerridge came free, but Max Longden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Bedale booed when Mansfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Williams didn't get a good kick on the ball. Max Longden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nath Furlong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 played minutes Mansfield got a freekick which was hit by Carl Turnbull. 28 minutes into the match, Mansfield's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Kerridge came free, but Max Longden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32ndth minute of the game Adam Kerridge who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mansfield's Max Longden was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 34 minutes of play Mansfield's Owen Coulson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Owen Coulson kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Max Longden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nath Furlong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the game, Adam Kerridge cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Max Longden was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Max Longden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Walters, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After some careless play in the Mansfield defense, Bart Midson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Max Longden. The Mansfield fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Max Longden should have stopped the shot. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mansfield's goalkeeper Max Longden, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Adam Kerridge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Rich Langford got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Adam Kerridge kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Max Longden. That made the score 0-3 in the 64 minute of play. Max Longden was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Adam Kerridge capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Adam Kerridge really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. After 75 minutes, Bart Midson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bedale and the Mansfield players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bart Midson kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Adam Kerridge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Longden having to interfere. Rich Langford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adam Kerridge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mansfield's Max Longden proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Mansfield from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Mansfield's zone, Adam Kerridge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Max Longden came out of the goal and Adam Kerridge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Bedale's Nath Furlong in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mansfield's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Mansfield's zone, Adam Kerridge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Max Longden came out of the goal and Adam Kerridge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rich Langford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Bedale's Adam Kerridge ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Max Longden. Max Longden yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Bedale played a much better game than Mansfield and deserved their victory. The Mansfield players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
