Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vernon Denham got the match started through his kick off. After 2 played minutes Abusement Park got a freekick which was hit by Ryan Knightley. Gatwick FC's Billie Walker got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Abusement Park's Olly Krief got control of the ball when Gaz Ramsden tried to sneak it across the goal line. Olly Krief showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steven Pearch, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Abusement Park's zone, Gaz Ramsden stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olly Krief came out of the goal and Gaz Ramsden tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Steven Pearch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olly Krief having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Steven Pearch's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olly Krief was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. 15 minutes into the game, Vernon Denham was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Abusement Park's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gatwick FC the free kick. Vernon Denham hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Gaz Ramsden left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gatwick FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 24th match minute, Abusement Park was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Harding to maneuver through the defense. Billie Walker struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Olly Krief didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gatwick FC. After having played for 28 minutes, Gaz Ramsden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gatwick FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaz Ramsden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gatwick FC's Gaz Ramsden got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Steven Pearch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Olly Krief tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Abusement Park's zone, Gaz Ramsden stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olly Krief came out of the goal and Gaz Ramsden tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olly Krief made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steven Pearch in the 37th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
In the 52nd minute, Steven Pearch made a precise shot to the right of Olly Krief. Abusement Park's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Steven Pearch took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olly Krief. Olly Krief dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 67 minutes into the match, Gatwick FC's Steven Pearch sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Olly Krief narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Abusement Park's goal looked a bit too open when Gaz Ramsden came free, but Olly Krief reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olly Krief stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaz Ramsden's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Steven Pearch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gatwick FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Steven Pearch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olly Krief breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Gatwick FC's Steven Pearch in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Abusement Park's goalie prevented a goal. After 76 played minutes Gatwick FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaz Ramsden. Pierce Paget showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josh Nelson in the 81st minute of the match. Steven Pearch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Josh Nelson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abusement Park's supporters rose to their feet, but Josh Nelson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pierce Paget breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ryan Knightley hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After having played for 90 minutes, Steven Pearch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gatwick FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steven Pearch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Russ Doughty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Olly Krief tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Gatwick FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
