Owen Crocker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Liphook AFC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Dean Beardsley hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, Austin Ingram got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brett Jordan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Charles Whiteley's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Owen Crocker struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Brett Jordan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for WestBrom FC. Brett Jordan made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Owen Crocker sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th minute Owen Crocker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brett Jordan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Liphook AFC's Graham Cooper got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute Ralph Potts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brett Jordan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Owen Crocker succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 34th playminute. In the 37th minute, Charles Whiteley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that David Boatman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mark Fawcett was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. 41 minutes into the game, Owen Crocker lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Brett Jordan. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Owen Crocker took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Brett Jordan to make any attempt to save it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Ralph Potts made the kick off in the second half. When WestBrom FC's Charles Whiteley in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Brett Jordan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Owen Crocker, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute Garry Rusby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Fawcett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Boatman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Mark Fawcett made a huge save. In the 62nd match minute, WestBrom FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Whiteley to maneuver through the defense. If Owen Crocker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Liam Avery charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Liam Avery the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 70th match minute, Liphook AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Liam Avery to maneuver through the defense. Owen Crocker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. WestBrom FC's Charles Whiteley got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the WestBrom FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
