Spectators: 6712 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Charles Knowles got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Halstead AFC's goalkeeper Callum Pitt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bradley Patten. Jeff Monkman took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nick Sadler. Nick Sadler dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With an all-out effort, Egremont's Callum Pitt threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Allan Bloom, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 10th minute Devon Ingham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Callum Pitt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nick Sadler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dylan Shearer in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Alexander Stamer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Louis Delaney's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nick Sadler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Halstead AFC's zone, Bradley Patten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Callum Pitt came out of the goal and Bradley Patten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nick Sadler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louis Delaney in the 35th minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Benjamin Gibbons was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Halstead AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Egremont the free kick. After 42 played minutes Halstead AFC got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Gibbons. In the 45th minute, Egremont's Charles Knowles dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Callum Pitt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradley Patten in the 52nd minute of play. In the 57th minute, Alexander Stamer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamin Gibbons hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Buster Froggatt hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Callum Pitt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles Knowles, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Louis Delaney got free with Nick Sadler in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Halstead AFC's Callum Pitt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Knowles in the 70th minute of play. Egremont were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Halstead AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alexander Stamer took the corner. The corner ended in Alexander Stamer almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Halstead AFC's Callum Pitt did a great save. After 73 played minutes Halstead AFC got a freekick which was hit by Lewis Welch. After 74 played minutes, Egremont's Alexander Stamer shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Callum Pitt came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Egremont reached it. Jeff Monkman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nick Sadler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Halstead AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Knowles came free, but Callum Pitt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bradley Patten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Callum Pitt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
