Spike Sinclair was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Stuart Plummer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Stuart Plummer really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 20 minutes into the game, Kosovo's Pedro Waterhouse nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Beinn Rushforth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Kosovo's Spike Sinclair played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stuart Plummer in the 28th minute of play. After 35 played minutes Houghton Regis FC got a freekick which was hit by Jack Dunne. In the 36th minute, Pedro Waterhouse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Beinn Rushforth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Vennerström in the 38th minute of play. Beinn Rushforth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Waterhouse's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Beinn Rushforth came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Kosovo's Anton Vennerström. But to his dismay, Anton Vennerström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Beinn Rushforth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Waterhouse in the 45th minute of play. Anton Vennerström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stuart Plummer made a kick off. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Anton Vennerström sped through Houghton Regis FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Beinn Rushforth. Pedro Waterhouse blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Beinn Rushforth having to make a save. 57 minutes into the match, Kosovo's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Bator came free, but Spike Sinclair reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anton Vennerström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the match, Houghton Regis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Waterhouse came free, but Beinn Rushforth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Kosovo booed when Houghton Regis FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stuart Plummer didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stuart Plummer in the 75th minute of play forced Kosovo's goalkeeper Spike Sinclair to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Pedro Waterhouse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sammy Bevan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes in the game, Pedro Waterhouse fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Beinn Rushforth having to interfere. Beinn Rushforth made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Anton Vennerström sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Houghton Regis FC's Beinn Rushforth got control of the ball when Anton Vennerström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anton Vennerström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Beinn Rushforth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Kosovo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Houghton Regis FC throughout the match.
