Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joe Budge kicked off to start the match. Lance Slater lost his temper 3 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 5th minute Richard Horn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Collingwood, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Spalding FC's Geoff Downes got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Henry in the 11th minute of play forced Spalding FC's goalkeeper Carlos Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Spalding FC's Carlos Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Collingwood in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Shawn Longstaffe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Spalding FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave St Agnes the free kick. Shawn Longstaffe hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Carlos Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Collingwood in the 16th minute of the match. Carlos Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tom Farrell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Shawn Longstaffe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute Tom Farrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vincent Emmerson hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Simon Henry made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Andrade. Spalding FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 35th minute, Paul Collingwood left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The St Agnes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Vincent Emmerson struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Eddy Devaney didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spalding FC. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind St Agnes's goalkeeper Eddy Devaney, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joe Budge in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eddy Devaney, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Junior Sutcliffe made a kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Vincent Emmerson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spalding FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vincent Emmerson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matty Walsh blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eddy Devaney having to make a save. Eddy Devaney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shawn Longstaffe in the 66th minute of play. Tom Farrell hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Eddy Devaney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shawn Longstaffe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joe Budge struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Vernon Kearney hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the match, St Agnes's goal looked a bit too open when Matty Walsh came free, but Eddy Devaney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Matty Walsh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shawn Longstaffe in the 79th minute of play forced St Agnes's goalkeeper Eddy Devaney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Shawn Longstaffe made a precise shot to the right of Eddy Devaney. St Agnes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Vincent Emmerson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddy Devaney having to interfere. If Shawn Longstaffe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The throw-in from Jeff Larham in the 89th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Spalding FC's Kyriakos O'Shannachan. Carlos Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Henry in the 91st minute of play. The supporters of St Agnes booed when Spalding FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shawn Longstaffe didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 93 played minutes St Agnes got a freekick which was hit by Paul Collingwood. Eddy Devaney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joe Budge, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. When the final whistle went the supporters of St Agnes were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Spalding FC side.
