Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dan Woodman kicked off to start the match. Jools Bostock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Jeff Gibbs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Dan Woodman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 16thth minute of the game Dan Woodman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Waltham's Nathanial Croxford was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jacob Wise received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Jeff Gibbs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jools Bostock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Waltham's Nathanial Croxford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malcolm Jenkinson in the 24th minute of play. With a little luck, Waltham's Nathanial Croxford got control of the ball when Eddy Prutton tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jeff Gibbs stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacob Wise's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Malcolm Jenkinson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eddy Prutton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Haslemere FC's Dan Woodman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nathanial Croxford. That made the score 1-0 after 36 minutes of play. In the 44th minute of the match Rupert Liddle shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nathanial Croxford showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Waltham's Nathanial Croxford got control of the ball when Eddy Prutton tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Eddy Prutton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Dan Woodman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nathanial Croxford was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Jacob Wise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeff Gibbs having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddy Prutton in the 62nd minute of play forced Waltham's goalkeeper Nathanial Croxford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, Jools Bostock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eddy Prutton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nathanial Croxford having to interfere. When Dan Woodman came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Haslemere FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dan Woodman couldn't finish the play. Dan Woodman might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nathanial Croxford. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dan Woodman ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Waltham defense, Eddy Prutton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nathanial Croxford. The Waltham fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nathanial Croxford should have stopped the shot. Nathanial Croxford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddy Prutton in the 94th minute of play. The supporters of Waltham booed when Haslemere FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kieran Constable didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Haslemere FC were the better team. Haslemere FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
