Will Gray scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Garry McGovern, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Jimmy Simpson was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 44 minutes had been played. Jimmy Simpson kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, St Johns Wood's goal looked a bit too open when Craig Wicks came free, but Garry McGovern reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Will Gray to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Will Gray's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Garry McGovern was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CJ Galloway kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. St Johns Wood's David Spears couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 96th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mankus Athletic F.C. The St Johns Wood fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mankus Athletic F.C were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
