Peanut Soupper ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nigel Platt in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eric Gurney saved Atherstone United from getting behind. Nick Berry didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alan Sears went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score.
