Spectators: 6725 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Chris Deacon kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd minute, Hayden Howard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Alfie Warne came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Football LK FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfie Warne couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfie Warne in the 10th minute of play forced Sowerby Bridge's goalkeeper Tommy Millman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Millman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ben Airton in the 17th minute of play. In the 23rd minute Alfie Warne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Millman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ben Airton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ben Airton struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Tommy Millman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Football LK FC. After a defensive mix-up in Sowerby Bridge's zone, Alfie Warne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Millman came out of the goal and Alfie Warne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sowerby Bridge's Tommy Millman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ben Airton in the 34th minute of play. Archie Robertson charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Archie Robertson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Archie Robertson kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Alfie Warne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Football LK FC booed when Sowerby Bridge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Will Silvester didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfie Warne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play Football LK FC's Archie Robertson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Archie Robertson kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Stuart Edgson struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Jermaine Delaney didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sowerby Bridge. Sowerby Bridge's Chris Deacon got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chris Deacon in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jermaine Delaney saved Football LK FC from getting behind. In the 64th minute, Ben Airton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ben Airton received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tommy Millman came out and tried to block the shot, but Ben Airton slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 74th minute. If Ben Airton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 85th minute by Tyrone Cooke got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to Sowerby Bridge getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Stuart Edgson hit a great ball. Sly Talbot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jermaine Delaney having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
