Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jo Woodier made the kick off and thus started the match. When Jermaine Stead came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Zorza Niemil United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jermaine Stead couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Penrith City getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Ian Mallon hit a great ball. Zorza Niemil United's Lance Dothery couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 19th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Penrith City. Travis Whittingham kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After 23 minutes of play, Zorza Niemil United's Jermaine Stead made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Huey Holland was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jon Boatman kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After 30 minutes, Walter Lydiate mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Penrith City and the Zorza Niemil United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zorza Niemil United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jo Woodier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Jermaine Stead had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42ndth minute of the game Glyn Horsey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Penrith City's Huey Holland was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Huey Holland was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Glyn Horsey capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Glyn Horsey really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Glyn Horsey was the one to do the kick off. Huey Holland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jermaine Stead, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Glyn Horsey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Huey Holland having to interfere. In the 56th minute Glyn Horsey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Huey Holland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Walter Lydiate was shown his second yellow card after 60 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 61 played minutes Penrith City got a freekick which was hit by Walter Lydiate. After some careless play in the Penrith City defense, Jermaine Stead kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Huey Holland. The Penrith City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Huey Holland should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Zorza Niemil United getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Tommy Campbell hit a great ball. Huey Holland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jermaine Stead in the 75th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Glyn Horsey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zorza Niemil United's supporters rose to their feet, but Glyn Horsey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Huey Holland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 80 minutes, Jermaine Stead managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zorza Niemil United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jermaine Stead was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Glyn Horsey succeeded in the game's 82nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-1. In the 87th minute Jermaine Stead shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Huey Holland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jermaine Stead fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Huey Holland having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Glyn Horsey in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Huey Holland prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There was no doubt that Zorza Niemil United were the better team. Zorza Niemil United's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
