Darius Rain's late challenge caught a CHELSEA HEADHUNTERS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Darius Rain helped the player get up and apologised. Thomas Basterfield showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darius Rain in the 17th minute of the match. If Thom Dobson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thom Dobson in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Darryl Stone saved Headly FC from getting behind. CHELSEA HEADHUNTERS's Thomas Basterfield played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barney Nethercott in the 27th minute of play. Darius Rain hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Thom Dobson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Darryl Stone made a huge save. Darius Rain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the CHELSEA HEADHUNTERS defense, Darius Rain kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thomas Basterfield. The CHELSEA HEADHUNTERS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thomas Basterfield should have stopped the shot. Darryl Stone didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thom Dobson went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

After a defensive mix-up in Headly FC's zone, Barney Hampton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Darryl Stone came out of the goal and Barney Hampton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Thom Dobson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charlie Laverick struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Darryl Stone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CHELSEA HEADHUNTERS. Seth Easter kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Headly FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
